Hey, I'm Michael, a single dad in Towson, Maryland, crafting no-nonsense pies in a regular row house kitchen while trying to keep up with two teenage boys. After teaching myself pie baking during the COVID lockdown and winning 1st Place for my pecan pie at the 2024 Maryland State Fair, I launched Man-Made Pies to share straightforward recipes, practical tips, and a little encouragement for guys and curious bakers alike.
